Monsoon Residency in Philosophy

Led by Prof. Sanil V
June 16-21, 2017

The residency is intended as an intimate space for exploration outside the protocols of academic life. The idea is to enable a convivial gathering, of 10 - 15 people, to have an intense involvement with philosophical thinking. Beyond the confines of a specific agenda, the residency will look at how to pursue relentless erudition while remaining an amateur, cultivating and sustaining thinking as an in-disciplinary intensity, and how we engage with classical texts today.

The Monsoon Residency in Philosophy is led by Prof. Sanil V, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT, Delhi.
